These Terms govern access to and use of the CARIAKI platform (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is currently in a testing phase (beta). Features, data and calculations may be incomplete or change without notice.
1. What CARIAKI is (and is not)
CARIAKI is a software tool to manage real estate deals and renovation works, and to report progress to co-investors ("backers").
CARIAKI is NOT a financial advisor, does NOT provide investment advice, does NOT manage, hold or move investor capital, and does NOT facilitate securities offerings. Any investment decision is solely the user's responsibility.
2. Account and eligibility
You must be at least 18 and legally able to contract. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity on your account.
New sign-ups may be subject to manual approval before accessing the app.
3. User content and data
You keep ownership of the data you enter (properties, budgets, photos, documents). You grant CARIAKI a limited licence to host and process that data solely to provide the Service.
You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of the content you upload, including having a legal basis to share third-party data.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service for unlawful purposes, to raise capital from the public, to circumvent technical limits, or to upload content that infringes third-party rights or applicable law.
5. Subscriptions and payments
Paid features are billed by subscription. During beta, terms, pricing and plans may change. Applicable taxes (VAT) are added where due.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that calculations, estimates or reports are error-free, nor that the Service is uninterrupted — especially during beta.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CARIAKI is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or investment decisions made based on use of the Service.
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
9. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. For any question, contact suporte@cariaki.pt.
